The Basic Health Profile contains important tests to identify potential health risks or medical conditions. The Complete Blood Count Panel (CBC) measures red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) includes 14 different measurements to evaluate overall body function in effectively breaking down and using nutrients from food to provide the necessary energy for cells (metabolism). The Cholesterol Panel measures cholesterol and triglyceride levels to help evaluate the health of your heart and arteries. The Urinalysis screens for possible problems with your metabolism and kidneys by examining the appearance, concentration, and content of your urine.
